These are all words used by previous clients to describe me. I thought they might shout louder than a traditional bio. But if you want that too….

I’ve been counseling for 13 years since swapping the secondary school classroom for the therapist’s chair. I have focused on couples’ work since 2016, initially training in Emotionally Focused Therapy with Marriagecare, then fertility counseling (with the National Fertility Society). Wider life experiences include working in the slums of Paraguay with families and children, and running a community house for adults with difficult life histories.

I love Imago Relationship Therapy because it aims to teach couples how to communicate in a safe and effective way that restores their feeling of being closely connected and understood, reducing conflict and negativity. Put simply – Imago works, and it’s a joy to see its transformational impact on each new couple I see.
