Biography

Ecotherapy couples Intensives

Hello, I am Aisha Ali, a UKCP-registered and UKAHPP-accredited integrative humanistic psychotherapist, couples and psychosexual therapist, clinical supervisor and trainer. I am a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist with over 25 years’ clinical experience. I work from London and worldwide, offering both face-to-face and online sessions.

Imago Dialogue is one of the ways I support couples in slowing down reactive cycles and hearing one another more fully. My core practice, Living from the Heart, is an integrative, humanistic, relational ecology approach that goes beyond any single method.

I work with couples who are ready for deep, embodied, and culturally aware work on relationship, power and intergenerational patterns. My couples work draws on Imago Dialogue to interrupt the reactive cycle and make room for something slower and more honest — hearing a partner’s reality without abandoning your own, and asking directly for what you need rather than through protest or withdrawal.

I have a particular interest in international and transcultural relationships, in what travels down the generations, and what holds the potential for awakening our creative life force.

I offer couples therapy, alongside couples intensives, workshops and retreats. You can read more about my work on my website, Living from the Heart. I also offer clinical supervision to humanistic and integrative psychotherapists and to therapists developing an embodied clinical practice, drawing on the Seven-Eyed Model and attending closely to use of self, power and ethics.

Alongside private practice, I have taught and supervised for the NHS, Metanoia, Birkbeck and Roehampton. I write on relational ecology and conscious relationships; you can find my writing on Substack.
